Ringing in a new year has always brought me great joy. I love the yearly reminder to consider all the memories that were made, adventures that were had, new people met, places that were visited and lessons that were learned. This past year brought an abundance of all of these things, and for that I am profoundly grateful. My father was always a big advocate for setting new years resolutions. I learned to love doing this and have carried on this habit throughout my life. Regardless of if all my goals were met (my accomplishment rate went up considerably when I took “go to the gym 5 times a week” off my yearly list;), I always recognize the progress that was made in a positive direction. Many of you set goals to learn sign language so that you could bless the lives of the Deaf/hh community, for that I cannot say THANK YOU enough, I am honored to be part of your journey!
