I hope all of you enjoyed those last blasts of winter weather (were they the last…?) Mother nature wasn’t gonna let us escape without at least a few snowy days!
It has been an exciting time here as we have finally released our Signing with Autism curriculum through a new website: www.signingwithautism.com We are also about to offer our beginning courses online through our ASL Expressions website. If you know of people who would like to learn, but don’t have time to go to classes or live in areas outside of the Treasure Valley, please help us spread the word. Thank you again, all of you, for giving me the opportunity to share my love of sign language and the Deaf community with you!
As much as I enjoyed the holidays, I was very happy to be back in classes! I am beyond thankful that I get to do something I love so much and that I get to work with some of the most amazing people in this valley. I haven’t mentioned it lately, I want to thank you all again for your efforts to learn the language of the Deaf/hh, and for preparing yourself for opportunities to reach out and serve. I absolutely love the first day of a brand new class when I get to hear all of your reasons for signing up. I hope this endeavor blesses your life as much as it blesses mine and others in the Deaf community.
